Richardson Drafting and Design is a full service drafting and design company with an emphasis on green building. They had descriptions of their services at third party websites all over the Internet but what they lacked was one place clients could visit. We built them a straightforward design that highlighted the galleries of images provided by the client.
SPIRT of PA is an eight year old paranormal investigations group located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In a crowded field of often embarassing
sites, Mark decided to make something clean, simple, and easy to use.
The PDX Roadrunners (Portland, OR) asked us to make a flyer for a day and night of music and food to benefit the Bradley-Angle House, a local woman’s shelter.
Confronted with a slew of images of bands and sponsors, Cindi pulled the disparate design elements together around the central conceit of the spokes of a motorcyle wheel.
For their second incarnation the organizers of Portland, Oregon’s Subversive Zone became more serious about marketing their night of experimental music, and Myspace was a key place to be for Portland’s independent music scene.
Unfortunately Myspace “design” circa 2008 was a misery of noisy, loud third-party templates or a boring standard default blue. Working with their existing flier design Mark and Cindi adapted the flier’s colors and logo, clearing out Myspace cruft and resulting in a cleaner, happier design.
Brian Carnell built Animalrights.net to be the premiere web site for information and discussion critical of the animal rights movement. Using Macrobyte’s Conversant internet groupware we built a design that improved browsing the large article database. The homepage became a window into the entire site, while customized search results exposed related topics.
For death metal band Suspended by Hooks, Mark used classic metal design concepts and future-facing code to make a site that was easy to administer and a pleasure for fans to visit.
